In CEP 811, which was also a part of the 3-course summer hybrid program that I took in 2015, I continued to explore the creative side of educational technology. First, we spent time diving into the concept of Maker Education and what it means to be a Maker. To put what we learned into practice, my colleagues and I were given the task of planning, organizing and hosting a Maker Faire. This took place at the main library on Michigan State’s campus and was open to makers of all ages. Additionally, we also explored the idea of repurposing technologies.
